eBay PowerU™ Student Registration, Content Hosting, and Fulfillment Management
With the phenomenal growth of eBay, individuals were offering classes around the world to teach others how to sell on eBay. In 2004, eBay identified the need for a more formal oversight of this program.
WING, Inc.
Williams Information Network Group Inc. (WING) is an IT solutions firm that provides Software Development, Network Design, and Professional Real Estate Services. WING’s client, the State of Maryland, was upgrading its current medical records system to a new StarLIMS COTS solution.

Defense & Intelligence

Air Force Material Command (AFMC)
The Air Force Material Command (AFMC), conducts research, development, test and evaluation, and provides the acquisition management services and logistics support necessary to keep Air Force weapon systems ready for war. The AFMC Configuration Management (CM) Project Management Office (PMO) required review of its CM processes and procedures, and a tool set that would provide both asset identification/management as well as dependency mappings of all systems and applications contained in its Regional Data Centers (RDC).
Military Sealift Command (MSC)
Military Sealift Command (MSC), the ocean transportation provider for the Department of Defense with the responsibility of providing strategic sealift and ocean transportation for all military forces overseas, required efficiencies in underlying disk sub-systems to eliminate single points of failure and replace aging production systems.
U.S. Central Command (US CENTCOM)
All DoD employees have Common Access Cards (CAC), which are required for network access on the Unclassified but Sensitive Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET). This works fine within Continental United States (CONUS), but presents problems for PKIenabled applications working in high-latency/low bandwidth environments, such as systems used in theater.

Civilian Agencies


National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
The CIO of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration required immediate enhancement in program efficiency and effectiveness through reliable and high quality information security support to the Office of the Associate Chief Information Officer for Weather.


Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
InScope Solutions was requested as an independent third party to provide a validation of all the security artifacts that needed to be created as part of newly developed FTC systems. As part of this effort, InScope will audit all controls on Windows and UNIX servers for an internet facing web application.
Bureau of Census
The Bureau of Census Technologies Management Office (TMO) Software Testing Team (STT) is responsible for coordinating and conducting systems tests as well as release management of software. The Bureau required project management and subject matter expertise to streamline testing and release management programs and processes.
